One of Brian’s greatest books, art wise, is one he made in 1977, called The True Cross. It is a lesser known work perhaps, full of magical and exquisite illustrations, like this one. A masterly depiction in ink and wash of that perfect place - An Eden, a dreamscape, an experience, a place of wonder, life, balance, equilibrium… utter beauty!
